Ultra-light, 6.30 Euros, all purpose sandals
After spending many nights comparing reviews for best tires, tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, digital cameras, bike computers etc; today I completed my #tda2012 gear shopping with these, believe it or not such models where even considered trendy a few summers ago around Italy (you can still find the hip brand for about 40 Euros ).
Believe it or not they also seem to have a following amongst ultra-cyclist (!?); I’ll give it a try on the bicycle maybe, but the main purpose was to have something lighter than the real trekking boots for walking around the camp, taking showers whatever.
The final purchase decision was done after evaluating the pros and cons compared to what would be the ultimate sandal style-wise:
